Exploring night photography
Exploring night photography opened up a whole new world of creative possibilities. We experimented with long exposures, capturing the beauty of darkness lit up by both artificial and natural light. One of the most exciting techniques we tried was light painting, using handheld lights to draw patterns, write words, or highlight parts of the scene.
It was fascinating to see how the camera could turn simple movements into glowing streaks and surreal shapes. One particularly special night, we were lucky enough to capture the northern lights right above our school, an unforgettable experience.
These nights not only challenged us technically but also reminded us of the magic and unpredictability that make photography so special.
