Canoe trip
This canoe trip was the perfect opportunity to bond and enjoy the outdoors together. We were driven to a lake, then spent the day paddling to our campsite, where we set up our tents for the night.
The trip mostly went as planned, until my group had an unexpected adventure. Our canoe sank after getting caught on a fallen tree in the strong current. Luckily, it didn’t take on any leaks, so after a quick change of clothes and some teamwork to pour the water out, we were ready to keep paddling.
Once we arrived at the campsite, we all shared a meal before some of the photo students started a light painting session as darkness fell. Later, when it was time to sleep, we had to take turns throughout the night to keep the fire going in the tent stoves, making sure we all stayed warm.
The next day, we were driven back, tired but happy, carrying with us memories of a fun, slightly chaotic, and unforgettable adventure.
