Black and white analog photography and light painting
For our immersion project, a classmate and I decided to explore black and white analog photography with a focus on light painting. Combining the unpredictability of film with the creative possibilities of long exposure and movement, we experimented with different light sources to create unique and dynamic images.
In black and white, the contrast between light and shadow became even more striking, highlighting shapes, textures, and patterns in a way that felt both artistic and experimental.
This project pushed our creativity and helped us deepen our understanding of exposure, composition, and the technical aspects of shooting on film.
